250 Club

What is the Darwin Symphony Orchestra’s 250 Club?

Our 250 Club provides an opportunity for you to support the DSO through an annual, tax deductable donation of $250 – made by 250 supporters. This fund helps to support the on-going development of our local volunteer players and our community orchestra.

Who can join the 250 Club?

Anyone who wishes to commit to an annual donation of $250 can join, including a company. A company may make more than one donation and have more than one place in the Club. Once 250 supporters have been accepted in a year, access to the Club will close until the following year.

What will the DSO do for 250 Club supporters?

Your generous support will be acknowledged by listing your name  as a supporter of our 250 Club. If the donation has been made by a company, the company name will be listed. You will be emailed regular information on upcoming performances and events of the DSO. A 250 Club annual event for supporters is planned.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes. The DSO holds deductible gift recipient status and therefore all donations made to the DSO are tax deductible.

How do I join the 250 Club?

Please email dso@cdu.edu.au  for more information and a form to be sent to you. Your donation of $250 can be made via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or cheque payable to Darwin Symphony Orchestra Inc. On payment you will be issued an official receipt which can be used for taxation purposes. The 250 Club year goes from the date of your payment.  You will be contacted each year to confirm you wish to continue to make your annual donation.
